Pool & Clubhouse Rules
Reminder:  The pool and clubhouse, as well as all the property contained therein, are owned, maintained, and operated by all homeowners.  Your initial assessment and yearly dues pay for upkeep and improvements.  Damages, vandalism, abuse, and destruction of any of the Clubhouse/Pool facilities or equipment is paid by each and every member of the Packard Estates Homeowners Association.  Please report any problems to your Neighborhood Watch Block Captain, any pool committee member, or the Meridian Police Department.
Pool Rules
1.  Hours of operation are from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm Monday through Sunday.  Pool will be open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
  2.  No Lifeguard will be on duty.  All persons using the pool do so at their own risk.  Owners and managers will not be responsible for accidents or injuries.
  3.  NO Diving, Running, Pushing or Shoving in or around pool area.
  4.  All children under 13 years of age must have adult supervision.  Please do not assume that since an adult member is present, that it is OK to drop off your children.  You MUST have positive, confirmed supervision of your children from either yourself or another adult who accepts this responsibility.  Any adult who does not wish to accept the responsibility of supervising children under 13 whose parents are not present, must ask the children to leave the pool area.
  5.  Maximum occupancy in pool is 25 people
  6.  Guests are permitted with a member of the Packard Estates Homeowners Association in good standing. Children and youth guests must be invited by a parent.  Parents assume responsibility for their guests as well as for their supervision.
  7.  No children in diapers.
  8.  No cut-offs or street clothes.
  9.  No pets on premises or in pool area.
10.  No alcohol.
11.  No smoking.
12.  No food, glass, or glass containers allowed in pool area.
13.  No abusive/foul language or rough housing.
14.  No skateboards, roller blades, scooters or bikes on premises.
15.  All refuse must be placed in appropriate trash containers.
16.  Use of pool toys, balls and flotation devices must be used with consideration for others using the pool.
Inner tubes and oversized flotation devices are not permitted.
17.  Doors and gates must be kept locked.
18.  Pool keys may not be provided to non-members or duplicated.
19.  Damages to the pool, equipment, signs, or fixtures will be paid by the responsible homeowner.
20.  To prevent disturbance to others due to loud music, only personal music devices with headphones are allowed.
21.  Only Association members in good standing (no outstanding CCR violations) may use the recreation facilities.
22.  Only drinks and suntan lotion in unbreakable (no glass) containers are allowed in the pool area.
23.  All swimmers must shower before entering pool.
24.  Should the pool become contaminated with fecal matter, State laws require the pool be closed immediately for a minimum period of 24 hours to complete water treatment and testing.
Clubhouse Rules
1.  Renter must be in good standing of the Packard Estates Homeowners Association (the "Association") to reserve.
  2.  The Clubhouse, including all related facilities and property shall be returned to the Association in the condition and position it was in prior to the time the renter takes possession of the Clubhouse.
  3.  The resident renter is responsible for cleaning and leaving the interior of the Clubhouse and the grounds surrounding the Clubhouse in an orderly and clean condition, including without limitations, the restrooms, kitchen area and all furniture and fixtures.  Failure to follow the cleaning requirements will result in a non-refund of deposit and possible additional charges.  No tape or thumbtacks may be used for decorating.
  4.  Clubhouse hours are from 8:00 am to 12:00 am (midnight).  Clubhouse is obligated to be operated under all City of Meridian codes and ordinances.
  5.  All trash and debris must be removed from the Clubhouse and surrounding grounds.
  6.  The renter's obligation as described paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 herein, shall be completed in full no later than 10:00 am of the day following the rental, unless otherwise specified by the Association at the time of rental.
  7.  The facility is available for private parties with a rental deposit of $150.00 (payable by check).  Said monies shall be refunded upon a satisfactory walk through inspection with a member of the Association Pool Committee.
  8.  Reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis to the Parkpoint Property Manager.  The reservation occurs upon receipt of the rental/deposit check.  There will be NO verbal "holds".
  9.  Only Packard Estates Homeowners may reserve the facility and MUST BE present for the ENTIRE time of the rental.  Private parties with minors under 21 years of age require an adult homeowner of the home renting the Clubhouse to be present during the entire event.
10.  Homeowners who cancel their reservations less than 24 hours prior to the day of the event will forfeit $25.00 of their deposit.
11.  No smoking is allowed in the Clubhouse, pool area, or premises.
12.  Restrooms will be open and available to those in the Clubhouse and the Pool.
13.  The renter, all guests and invitees agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Packard Estates Homeowners Association, Inc., its Board of Directors, or any Parkpointe Property Management employees for any and all losses, claims, damages, lawsuits, etc., which occur or arise out of the use of the Clubhouse or pool facility.  Renter is responsible to abide by all City of Meridian ordinances.
14.  The renter understands and agrees to abide by all local, state and federal laws and ordinances that pertain to residents, guests and invitees while using the Clubhouse.  The renter understands that any violation shall be grounds for immediate termination of the right to use the Clubhouse.  Any such termination shall not waive or change the renter's obligation hereunder.
15.  No pets are allowed in the Clubhouse or on the Clubhouse grounds, including the pool area and basketball court.
16.  Bicycles, scooters and roller blades are to be parked at the bicycle rack.  Said items may not be left in front of the Clubhouse or along the fences.
17.  The Association reserves the right to enter the Clubhouse and terminate any function should the conduct of any person using the Clubhouse endanger the health, safety or welfare af any person, constitue a threat to the Clubhouse or other property, or reasonably interfere with the peace and enjoyment of the residents of the Packard Estates Subdivision.
18.  Reservations made for the purpose of conducting a commercial or for profit business engagement will be charged a $20.00 rental fee.
19.  No recurring reservation (i.e., every Thursday at 3:00 pm) will be allowed without approval of the Board of Directors.  An event may be scheduled for consecutive days (i.e., Monday and Tuesday, 1-2:00 pm) but can not exceed three consecutive days without Board approval.
