The story of this car started on December 18, 1936 , when Ernesto Dias de Castro Filho, grandson of the famous Architect Ramos de Azevedo ,bought it. The zealous owner put his signature on the first page of the respective Manual. It was his way to record that day (Picture above)

At that time Ernesto Dias de Castro Filho lived at 37 Paulista Avenue . Today that building belongs to the Government and cultural activities take place there.

  In 1994 the remains of that lofty car (Pictures below) was bought by Professor Rezende who has a passionate interest in antique cars and radios . He immediately started the process of restoration.

After two years of hard work the Packard 37 is now completely restored and magnificent. Available for rent.
