Tigers. Boys in the 1st grade.  Tiger Cubs learn new skills in partnership with an adult family member.  They follow the motto "Search, Discover, Share!"  working together on at home projects plus a monthly event with other Tiger Cubs and adults.  Emphasis is on building closer adult/child relationships while introducing boys and parents to Scouting.  During the school year, the boys work toward completion of the 16 Tiger Paws found in the Tiger Program.  They will recieve monthly recoginzation at the pack meetings for their accomplishements.  They receive the Tiger Cub Patch at the Blue & Gold dinner in February as they prepare to advance to the level of Wolf Scout.
Bobcat. All boys complete the requirements for Bobcat, whether their enter cub scouts as a Tiger Cub or when they are older.
Bear. Boys in the 3rd Grade.  Bears meet weekly for age specific activities in small groups (8 or less boys per den) under the direct supervision of Den leaders. Monthly pack meetings bring dens and families together for recognition and fun.  Cub Scouts work on Bear requirements with their den and families.  Emphasis is on doing one's best, cooperation, and teamwork.  The Bear Scout work toward completion of requirements for the Bear Badge during the year.  Those cub scouts that complete the requirements for Bear will receive their Bear Badge at the Blue & Gold dinner in February as they prepare to advance to the level of Webelo Scout.
Wolf. Boys in the 4th and 5th grade.  Webelos is a two year program.  Webelos meet weekly for age specific activities in small groups (8 or less boys per den) under the direct supervision of Den leaders. Monthly pack meetings bring dens and families together for recognition and fun.  Cub Scouts work on Webelos requirements with their den and families.  Emphasis is on doing one's best, cooperation, and teamwork.  The Webelos Scout work toward completion of requirements for the Webelos Badge during the two year program.  Toward the end of the second year, those cub scouts that complete the requirements for Webelo will receive their Webelo Badge and will participate in the Arrow of Light ceremony at the Blue & Gold dinner in February as they prepare to advance as Boy Scouts into Boys Scout Troop 15 at St. Matthew's.
