Two Saturdays in November (this year it's the 6th and 13th).
The first weekend the boys distribute the bags to every home in our community. Then on the second weekend they gather the donated food items. The boys get a chance to help those less fortunate than themselves, and they get a cool patch in return.
A great BIG thank you goes out to all of you who helped during the 2004 SCOUTING FOR FOOD drive. This year we collected 1449.3 pounds of food!
In the 2003 SCOUTING FOR FOOD drive Pack 905 collected 1,327 pounds of food. This will help out even more than the previous year.
In the 2002 SCOUTING FOR FOOD drive Pack 905 collected 1,034.5 pounds of food. This will help out those in need in our community.
In the 2001 SCOUTING FOR FOOD drive, Pack 905 collected 1735 pounds of food. This is enough to feed approximately 200 local families, including 400-500 kids, during the holidays.
