IT's a CELEBRATION of SCOUTING!
What’s a “Blue & Gold Banquet”? It’s a celebration of the birthday of scouting.
It's an opportunity for families of the entire pack to get together.
Enjoy dinner together and family-style entertainment.
It's a chance to participate in the “Parent & Son” cake decorating
contest
(where all entries get eaten).
When: Saturday, 11 Feb. 2006
Where: River Bend Middle School cafe.
Time: Arrive between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM. Dinner will be served promptly at 6:00 PM
What’s for dinner? Famous Dave’s will cater. Just bring your appetites and beverages for your den.
Cost: $10 per family
Family entertainment will be provided!
Each den is responsible for...
Their own beverages.
Ice bucket/ice bowl for their table
Making a Cub Scouting into the Future centerpiece -- a prize will be awarded to the den with the best centerpiece!
Parent & Son Cake Decorating Contest
One of the highlights of the Blue & Gold banquet is the Parent & Son Cake Bake/Decorating Contest. This year the categories will be:
a. Best banquet theme—cub scouts into the future
b. Best cub scouting/boy scouting
c. Best blue and gold and/or cub scout birthday
d. Most original/unique
e. Most outrageous!
