84W to exit 26 (Rte.70) Cheshire/Prospect. Go right at end of exit and proceed for 2.5 miles. At 3rd traffic light, Notch Store will be on your right, take a right onto 68W. (continue with directions from"proceed for 3 miles)
From Southington:
Rte. 10 to Rte 68W - Cheshire Academy will be on your left. Turn right, at next light go left to continue on 68W for approximately 3 miles heading towards Waterbury. At lights, Notch Store will be across the intersection on your left and you will see a sign for Holiday Hills, turn left and continue onto Rte. 68W. (continue with directions below)
Proceed for 3 miles until you are at Prospect Center (intersection). Turn left onto Rte. 69S (New Havaen). Follow Rte. 69S for approximately 10 miles. You should look for a reservior on your left, then you will pass Shepard farms on your right. The entrance for Whitting is a very small driveway, hidden by a fence and it is a blind shot. Across the street is the Thomas Darling house on your left. You need to go about 50 yards up to the turn around and redirect yourself bacl to the entrance drive. Follow drive until you hit camp.
**note: Rte 70 and Rte 68 are one of the same before the turn at the Notch Store. It just depends on which direction you are coming from**
