Committee Meeting Minutes

Monday Sept. 10, 2007

 

CALL TO ORDER

Meeting called to order- 6:37pm

 

IN ATTENDANCE : Mike Brown, Tracey Thompson, Kate Huber, Amy Good, John Goodman, Janice Lamm, Maria Palumbo, Nancy Harper, Joyce Miller, Darlene Gemmell, Suzanne Charlton, Ellen Phillips.

 

REVIEW OF LAST MEETING’S MINUTES

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

 

TREASURER’S REPORT

Nothing to report. Nancy will deliver all receipts to Shaun.

 

OLD BUSINESS

Wernersville Carnival was very successful. The pack sold all of the 100 Wixons Shoo-fly pies which brought in $150 for the Pack.

 

NEW BUSINESS

• Lehigh Valley Zoo Scout Program- Oct 13th 10am-2pm. $12.00per person will be due to Lisa or Maria by Sept. 24th Pack Mtg. This is a family event and a packed lunch is recommended.
• Back to School Night- Sept. 17th 6-9pm. On Wed. Sep 12th, the boys in CW East are to wear their Class A uniforms to generate interest in scouting.
• A motion was made to reschedule our Pack Mtg from Sept 17th to Sept. 24th followed by the den meetings. Motion carried. Awards will be given out to the boys after the Flag ceremony.
• Duncan’s Corn Maze-Nov. 2nd. Lisa O. will coordinate. Anyone is welcome to attend with the scout, however only the scout plus one adult will be paid for by the pack.
• Trails End Popcorn Sale starts on Nov. 15th. Info packets will be handed out at the Oct 1st Committee Mtg. Nancy & Ellen will chair.
• Halloween Parade- Oct 25th. Each den will design their own robot costumes. Report to Worleys at 7:15pm.
• Halloween Pre-parade Party- 5:30 -7pm. Trinity Lutheran Church will host the party for the entire pack.
• Trinity Lutheran Christmas Party- Dec. 2nd 5:30-7pm. The entire pack and their families are invited.
• Food for Scouting- Nov.10th. Kate will hopefully have the bags to pass out to the boys on Sept. 24th.
• Scout Sunday-Feb 3rd at 10:30am.
• Pinewood Derby-Feb. 17th. Cory Good will chair. Tracey Thompson will run the concessions.
• Strawberry Festival at Trinity Lutheran Church will be on June 14th next year.

The next committee meeting will be on Monday Oct. 1st.

 

 

Motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 7:53pm. Motion carried.
