Committee Meeting Minutes
Monday, February 5, 2007

 

CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order- 7:00pm.

 

IN ATTENDANCE : Joi Honer, Dwight Harding,  Joyce Miller,  Sherry Weitzel,  Ellen Phillips.

 

TREASURER’S REPORT
Sherry handed out the current Pack 459 balance information sheet to
all those present.

 

OLD BUSINESS
Scout Sunday is Feb 11th at 10:30 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wernersville.  Class A uniforms should be worn.  Attendance is strongly encouraged.  Pastor D. would like some boys to act as ushers & readers.

 

NEW BUSINESS
The next Pack Meeting will be the Pinewood Derby on Sunday Feb. 18th.  Check-in between 12 and 1pm at the CW East Elem. Optional weigh-in and trials will be at noon on Sat. Feb. 17th.  Den 2 will do opening/closing ceremony.  Snacks will be sold.  Remaining popcorn
will also be available to buy.  Ellen would like to sell all the boxes and close-out the popcorn monies.

 

The Blue & Gold Banquet will be on Sunday March 25th at the CW Middle School starting at 3pm for skits & awards.  Dinner will follow at 5pm.  Reservation forms & money are due at the Feb. Pack meeting on the 18th.  Gloria Troup is the chairperson.

 

VERY IMPORTANT--   A new volunteer committee chairperson is needed to step forward in order for the Pack to recharter in March/April.

 

Armed Forces Day Parade in Reading is on May 19th and the Wernersville Memorial Day Parade is at the end of May.   A decision will be made at a future committee meeting as to which parade the Pack would like to be in.

 

The next committee meeting will be on Mon. April 2nd at the Trin. Lutheran Church at 7pm.  May 7th is the following Comm. Meeting.

 

The next Pack meeting will be on Mon. April 23rd at CW East Elem at 6:30 pm.

 

Meeting was adjourned at 7:28pm.
