Meeting Minutes

CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order- 6:37pm
IN ATTENDANCE : Lisa Ogurcak,
Amy Good, John Goodman, Janice Lamm, Nancy Harper,
Leanne Granus, Tracey Thompson, Darlene Gemmell, Ellen Phillips, Shaun Shillady.
REVIEW OF LAST MEETING’S MINUTES
The minutes of the previous meeting were
approved.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Shaun presented the treasurer’s report
outlining the Pack’s Total Operating Funds. A copy of the report was given to
all present.
OLD BUSINESS
Duncan’s Corn Maze- Everyone had a fun time.
Halloween Parade- The
Pack was awarded a monetary prize of $10.00 which was suggested we use towards
the Pack Holiday Party.
Feedback on the Oct. Pack Meeting in the LGI
room- Seemed very chaotic. It was agreed to try it once again in the LGI room,
but with the suggestion of arranging a semi-circle of seats away from the stage
& grouping the boys by Dens.
Wish List for Church- A couple thermos’
(approx 2.2L), a parade banner (if we don’t find the one we had), & coolers
were suggested for possible items the Pack could use. It was brought to our
attention that as soon as we get the key, the scout cabinets in the LGI should
be looked through to take inventory of what we have before finalizing the list.
NEW BUSINESS
Food for Scouting-Sat. Nov. 10th at
Shurfine Parking Lot from 8am-1pm. Bags have been
distributed. It was suggested that the older scouts could hand out bags with a
note for shoppers to consider buying items to donate.
Trails End Popcorn- Sale officially starts
Nov. 15th. Packets with all the pertinent info were handed out to
Den Leaders who were present at the Committee Meeting. Money and orders are due
to Nancy or Ellen by Nov. 30th. Popcorn pickup date is scheduled for
Sat. Dec 15th from 12-2pm at Nancy Harpers garage.
Nov. Pack/Award Meeting-Nov
19th 6:30pm in LGI. Den 7 has Flag Ceremony.
Sign-ups for the Holiday Party snack items will be passed around. Santa is
being contacted at the North Pole for a visit.
Lisa has looked into an overnight trip onboard
the Battleship New Jersey, however they were booked
for the months we were interested. She will check to see May or Oct. 08
availability.
Lisa will set up a Reading Royal Scout Night
for either Nov. 11, Jan 11 or March 1. The ticket cost
is 11$pp plus $1 for a patch.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:10pm.
