Committee Meeting Minutes

CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order - 7:08

 

In Attendance:  Joi Honer, Leanne Granus, Mike Brown, Dwight Harding, Thomas Troup, Deb Goodman, Lisa Ogurcak, Janice Lamm, Joyce Miller, Amy Good, Ellen Phillips

 

OLD BUSINESS
Scouting For Food will take place on Sat. Nov. 11th from 9am to 1pm at Shurfine parking lot.  Webelos will be helping to sort the food items.  Any scout bringing a bag(or already brought a bag) will earn a patch.  Joyce will be making a list.

 

NEW BUSINESS
Nov. 20th is next Pack Meeting at 6:30 at CW East Elementary.  The theme is ‘Knights in Shining Armor’.  Den 5 will do opening/closing.  Joi will contact Deb Brownmiller-den 5 leader.
Each den will do a skit or song.  A fun game will be played. Bring crayons.

 

Sunday Dec. 3rd is the Christmas Party at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wernersville at 5:30.  A sign-up sheet will be at the pack meeting to get an idea of how many  might be coming.

 

Pack Holiday Party is on Monday Dec. 18th at 6:30 at CW East
Elementary.  A sign-up sheet will be at the next pack meeting.
The menu will be pizzas, snacks, fruits, & desserts.  The following is a list of food items each den is responsible for:

 

Den1 -- fruit                             Den5 -- veggie tray
Den2 -- desserts                       Den6 -- salty snacks
Den3 -- drinks                          Den7 -- paper products
Den4 -- salty snacks                 Pack will provide pizzas.
Santa Claus & Mrs. Claus will be present. 

 

Franklin Institute Camp-In is being looked into for Jan 12th.
Lisa  will provide more info asap.  There must be an adult for
each scout.  A final cost will be determined.

 

Blue & Gold  Banquet is scheduled for Sunday March 25th at
CW Middle School.  Gloria Troup & Leanne Granus are planning
this event.

 

Monday Jan 22nd is a Pack meeting at 6:30 at CW East Elem.
There will be a Father(adult)/Son Bakeoff.  The duo will bake a cake or pie to be taste- tested.  Bring a copy of the recipe.

 

The Wernersville Lions Club is planning on a Community Fair
next September 6th-7th.  The cub scouts have been invited to participate by having a stand and donating a portion of the earnings to the Historical Society.  The committee was in favor.
Mike will notify the Lions Club.

 

Caroling at the Phoebe Home is being looked into for  December.

 

Pinewood Derby.  Mike Brown has volunteered to run this event.  PW derby kits will be given out at the Dec. Holiday Party.

 

Next committee meeting will be Monday Dec. 4th at 7pm

 

Meeting was adjourned at 8:40pm.
