Committee Meeting Minutes

 

 

CALL TO ORDER

Meeting called to order-7:10.  In Attendance: Joi Honer, Mike Brown, Leanne Granus, Shaun Shillady, Gloria Troup, Gretchen Patti, Joyce Miller, and Ellen Phillips.

 

REVIEW OF LAST MEETING”S MINUTES

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

 

TREASURER’S REPORT

Mr. Shillady presented the treasurer’s report.  Committee approved.

 

FOLLOW-UP

Joe Corbi Fundraiser was distributed to all boys at the December Pack meeting. Committee members presented a follow-up to the past month’s activities.  Ideas to improve on the Holiday Pack meeting were discussed.  We may offer an earlier start time and have a pizza party in the future.  Awards will still be handed out, and despite some people feeling that the night was too long, most felt that the time Santa took with each boy was well received.

 

SCHEDULE REVIEW

For the January 23^rd Pack meeting, we will have a “Music Magic” theme.  Den 2 will be doing the opening ceremonies and a skit.  Gretchen will be doing music activities with the boys. Reminders abut Scout Sunday, Jambo, and other activities will be announced.   Joe Corbi forms will be collected.

 

Rechartering will be accomplished at individual Den meetings.  Mike, Joi, and Shaun will coordinate for the Tiger Den.

 

It was suggested that Shaun change the Corbi delivery date to Thursday Feb. 2^nd to accommodate those boys who sell at their parent’s places of employment.  This may or not be possible, so Shaun will investigate.

 

 

NEW BUSINESS

The Webelos leaders and Mike stayed after the meeting to discuss the overnight Klondike derby event this weekend.   A menu was created along with a list of items needed and activities to do during the event.

 

 

 

Meeting was adjourned at 8:10
