Committee Meeting Minutes
Annual Planning Meeting
Monday, August 8, 2005
CALL TO ORDER
Meeting called to order-7:00.

REVIEW OF LAST MEETING”S MINUTES
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Mr. Shillady presented the treasurer’s report. A copy of the report was given to all present. Mr. Brown will proceed with legal steps to resolve the Reifsnyder issue. A certified letter will be sent to the household by Ms. Honer.
SCHEDULE REVIEW
Summer Camp was a great success. A special thank-you was given to Leanne Granus for arranging bus transportation.
Weeblos Extended Day Camp will be August 14th – August 17th
Mr. Shillady updated the committee on the website. It is up and running and now includes Pack 459 schedules, agendas and photos.
NEW BUSINESS
It was decided that Pack Meeting s will be held once a month on the 3rd Monday.
Committee Meetings will be conducted on the 1st Monday of the month at the Church. Den meetings are to be scheduled by the Den leader.
Scouting for Food will be on September 10th. Mr. Brown and Ms. Huber will be in charge of distributing bags to Den Leaders.
Our Pack will be attending the Philadelphia Zoo on Saturday, September 24th. This trip will be discussed in detail and sign-ups will be on Monday, September 19th at 6:30. This will be at Pack Meeting.
All leaders and committee members should completer 2 training programs on Hawk Mountain Council website. The programs are: Youth Protection and Fast Track.
It was suggested and approved that all Den Leaders should meet to discuss questions and/or concerns to help form a network and help initiate new Leaders into the program 15 minutes before each Committee Meeting.
Day Camp for next summer will be the week of July 10th-14th. Please mark your calendars.
It was suggested that Flag Ceremonies will rotated among the Dens for all Pack Meetings. Each Den will conduct the flag ceremony and provide a song or skit for the Pack. The following schedule was approved up to Jan. 2006:

Committee members ended meeting with discussion on certain issues involving Dens. Mr. Brown will take care of these issues as soon as possible.
