Call to Order
Meeting called to order – 7:00 In Attendance: Joi Honer; Mike Brown; Dwight Harding; Leanne Granus; Joyce Miller; Shaun Shillady; Steve Boyer
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Mr. Shillady presented the treasurer’s report. (See attached) There are still several boys who have not remitted their rechartering dues. Those scouts were discussed, and Mr. Brown and Mrs. Miller will follow up.
Mr. Brown inquired as to whether or not the Reifsnyder account has been settled. It was reported that in fact, it has not, and that $500 is still owed. Mr. Brown will proceed with legal steps to resolve this issue.
The Pack stands officially at 42 registered boys.
Follow-Up
It was noted that the Gordon boys will not be rechartering.
Mr. Brown reported that the DARE program through Wernersville
Police Dept. will be coming to our
Homestead Picnic/Tour – Although rained out, it was decided that this event would be rescheduled at the next Pack meeting.
Health Fair – Mr. Shillady reported that there was quite the attendance at this event and that we should cover it again next year, perhaps with some games.
Armed Forces Day Parade – Will be
held
Summer Camp – Dues are to be
submitted ASAP, due to the
Super Cub Weekend –Mrs. Granus will see if, at this year’s event, we can keep the Pack together
Mr. Shillady suggested that the
Pack do a fund-raising car-wash, perhaps at Lowe’s. It was agreed, and Mr. Shillady offered to
coordinate the event for
Mrs. Honer asked if anyone knew someone to fulfill the recently proposed
“Activities Coordinator” position. Mr. Brown offered to chat with one of the
fathers in his Den about taking on this role.
Mrs. Honer is suggesting a trip to the Philadelphia Zoo in Sept/Oct.
Mrs. Honer presented information regarding the International Children’s
Festival on 6//05.
We have received the Quality Unit patches and the Boys’ Life award for
our Pack flag pole.
Mrs. Granus updated the Committee on forms and deposits that remain due
for Day Camp. She will be putting forth
an email reminding the Pack of the due dates and instructions to turn in the
funds.
Mrs. Honer confirmed that Mrs. Granus was able to inform Council of our
pack’s intent to be together for Super Cub weekend.
At the next Committee meeting, an overnight will be scheduled.
An inventory should be taken of the Pack items at CW East.
