Minutes for November 15, 2004, Committee Meeting
Meeting was called to order
at 7:09 pm by Shaun Shillady.
Those present included:

Minutes of the October 18,
2004 Committee Meeting were reviewed and approved by consensus.
Treasurer's Report: Heike
Beavans submitted the treasurer's report for September 2004. Total Funds
balance as of 9/20/04 was $1,335.07. This amount includes $351.58 of individual
Scouts funds.
Shaun Shillady recommended
a $25.00 donation to Astronomical Society for the demonstration to the Pack at
our last meeting. Committee approved.
Shaun Shillady reported our
Pack collected over 200 lbs. of food for Scouting for
Upcoming Event :
Museum Trip- Shaun to
announce via e-mails.
Popcorn Sale- Heike Beavans
will add up orders and tally the dollars
Mrs. Philips (Den 2) is the
pick up
Popcorn- Friday, December
10th, according to Shaun
December 11th between
10-11am,
Holiday Caroling Night-
Will take place at Pheobe Home, December 14, at 6:30pm. Beth Eshback will
invite Pastor Diefenderfer.
Shaun Shillady reported he
is updating our web site, passed out an article about Volunteer work and
reported he will hand it to all Pack parents. Steve Boyer suggested having a
parent meeting on Pack night to ask for volunteers. It was agreed to have this
meeting at the next Pack/Den meeting and all officers to help with the
presentation.
New
Business:
The annual
calendar was reviewed. Gretchen Patti confirmed that the next Scout meeting is
a Den only meeting.
Steve Boyer discussed his plans for improving the Pinewood
Derby event. Steve is in the process of forming a committee. Suggestions by the
Committee were given to Steve for consideration.
Shaun
handed out a form which will allow individual scouts to create a
"cheer" for our Pack 459. He also handed out forms to allow parents
to respond what week they would prefer Day Camp this year. Webloes
will go the third week in August, (3 days, two
nights).
The next Committee Meeting will be January 17, 2005, 7:00pm,
Committee meeting adjourned at 8:29pm.
