The Tiger Cubs

The Tiger Cubs is the first step in the cub scout trail.  Here your young scout will be working with an adult partner as a team.  You will be working on the advancement trail collecting beads to soon earn the rank of tiger.  At each meeting a new tiger and adult partner will run the meeting.  They will have plenty of assistance form the Tiger Leader.  The team can use the Tiger Handbook for ideas.  At the weekly meetings the boys will work on learning the oath, promise, and motto.  The tigers have there own special uniform.  The uniform tells everyone that they are a part of the pack. 

For tigers to advance they have five achievements that they have to complete.  They are:

1. Making My Family Special

2. Where I Live

3. Keeping Myself Healthy and Safe

4. How I tell It

5. Let's Go Outdoors

For each achievement there is a Family Activity, Den Activity, and a Go See It to complete.  Your child will earn his tiger cub totem and beads for each acivement.

  When all five achievements are completed the cub earns his rank.
