| Cub Scouts : FUN WITH A PURPOSE! Boys from 1st grade thru 5th grade have an opportunity to learn about the world around them and themselves while working on Ranks and Badges. In the beginning the boys work closley with a parent to advance. As your son advances he will start to rely on his own inititive as he prepares for Boy Scouts. Please email us if you are going to be moving to Fort Hood, TX area and we would be happy to help you join the pack or Boy Scout troop closest to you. |

| MOTTO: "SEARCH, DISCOVER AND SHARE" First grade (or 7 year-old) boys and adult partners. A way to have fun while building stronger family bonds. |
| The first Rank for any boy entering Cub Scouts and after first grade. The boys learn the core values that they will build on through the rest of Cub Scouts. BOBCAT RANK REQUIREMENTS |
| Second grade (or 8 years-old). After completing his Bobcat your scout can travel down the Wolf trail. Your scout must complete 42 out of 62 tasks. There are electives to be chosen from as well. Most tasks will be done and signed off at home. |
| Third grade (or 9 years-old). To achieve the Bear Rank your scout will complete 12 out of 24 achievements. Again most tasks will be done and signed off at home. Your scout is now learning to make decisions about which achievement he would like to do. |
| Webelos I - 4th grade boys Webelos II - 5th grade boys WE'll Be LOyal Scouts Webelos are on their way to becoming Boy Scouts. They will be learning the skills needed to become good scouts and good citizens. This is just a taste of what is to come. They will be helping run their den meetings and thier activities will shift from home centered to goup centered. |
