


			CUB SCOUT PACK 177 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES FOR WEDNESDAY, March 17, 1999 Fremont School - 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. Attendance: Bruce, Debbie, Robin, Mike, Dave H., Greg

		1. Topic: Blue/Gold Income, Costs and Reimbursement The Pack received an income of $249 from the cake sale�GREAT JOB !! All receipts for expenditures should be turned in for reimbursement as soon as possible. This will also help us budget for this event next year. 2. Topic: 1999 Candy Sales All candy sales monies are due at the March 25 Pack Meeting. If you are not attending, please turn your money into Regina prior to March 25. For the 68 boxes distributed, cubs will earn $7 per box in scout bucks ($ 476 ), the pack will earn $6 per box in scout bucks ($ 408). Since scouts bucks need to be spent before Aug. 31, the committee recommends that cash be collected for camp and deposited into the general fund and use scout bucks from the pack to pay for scouts going to camp. Please have envelopes with boys names on them and money separated by boy. 3. Topic: Snow Trip to Cottage Springs (on Highway 4) Meet at 8:30 AM in front of Fremont School this Saturday (March 20). Contact Debbie J. at 575-0449 to let her know if you are going so she can reserve tubes. The Pack will pay for a small tube for each scout ($5). Bring your own lunch and drinks. 4. Topic: Pack Hike to Morgan Territories (near Livermore) The hike is scheduled for March 27. Bruce will make announcement at this month�s Pack meeting. There will be a nominal charge ($2/person) for lunch and refreshments. Meet at 8:45 AM at Fremont; leave at 9 AM. Contact Bruce if you have questions (527-8536). If weather is bad, we will go on April 3. Views of Mt. Diablo, moderate grade hike. MAKE SURE TO BRING WATER AND SNACKS FOR HIKE! 5. Topic: Cub Scout Day Camp Requires registration by camp (not by cub scout); sign up sheets available from Debbie P. Debbie will also discuss at Pack Meeting. 8. Topic: Treasurer�s Report/Guaranty Federal Bank Resolution The current balances are: Pack Account: $ 775 Old Checkbook Bal.: $ 908 New Checkbook Bal: $1,314 Total: $2,997 Ken expects to close the old checkbook account by the end of this month. 4^th of July Float- Dave S should contact scout office ASAP to reserve two spots for a float; this will be discussed at next month�s committee meeting. Scout Fair - Robin is chairing event if it is not April 17. Debbie P. will verify schedule; this will be discussed at April�s committee meeting.
