Topics include continuity of pack, awards, dog safety talk. Dave Scheel’s den will coordinate flag and snacks. Regina’s den will demonstrate a science experience. Debbie will discuss scout olympics. Robin will discuss and solicit volunteers to assist in selection of items to be purchased at the next pack meeting. Debbie will discuss pack reservation for day camp (need contact person). Debbie will also discuss a pack bring your own potluck bbq at the pack meeting.

Leaders in existing positions should provide information and training as needed to ensure a smooth transition for new leaders and coordinators. Candidates for vacated positions are listed below; new leaders that are recruited in Sept. will fill some positions.

After numerous requests, the former treasurer still has not forwarded the remaining old checkbook balance of approx $900 to the new treasurer. Greg will again call Ken to request these funds. This item will be on the agenda for next month’s committee meeting to discuss future actions as necessary to obtain the funds.

Pack expenditures to date are not clear due to a lack of information from the former Treasurer. Greg will request this information also.

The committee concurred to address the target budget reserves at the next meeting. Funds above the target budget should generally be used for permanent pack improvements, capital equipment, and other improvements (microphone, speakers, etc.), software.

At our next committee meeting, the committee will 1) review current balances and expenditures based upon available records, and 2) prioritize and authorize the expenditure for specific items utilizing reserves.
