Den 1
The Tiger Cub Den is made up of normally 5 to 8 boys who are in first grade or are age 7, each with his adult partner.
Each boy and his partner, who may be a parent or other adult family member, work together to do family activities, den activities and a "Go See It" field trip based on the principles of Scouting.
Twice a month the Tiger Cub Den - boys and adult partners - meet for an activity built around the theme that has been selected by the pack. One of the Adult-boy teams host the monthly activities. Leadership of the Den meetings is shared among the adult partners on a rotating basis with the guidance and support of the Tiger Cub Den Leader. The Tiger Cub Den also has a monthly field trip and attends the monthly Pack meetings.
At the end of the school year, in May or June, the Tiger Cubs graduate and becomepart of a Wolf Cub Scout Den.
The Tiger Cubs are planning a big Month for Feb. The Theme is Native Americans and we have several activities planned. We are going to make a Totem Pole out of Soup Cans and minature drums out of old film cannisters. We are also trying to get together with the local Cherokee Tribe in the area for our "Go See It".
