No matter what age or grade a boy joins Cub Scouting, he must earn his Bobcat badge before he can be awarded a Wolf Badge, Bear Badge, or Webelos Badge.
Requirements include Learning the Cub Scout Promise, Saying the "Law of the Pack" and telling what it means, telling what WEBELOS means, showing the Cub Scout Sign and telling what it means, showing hte Cub Scout Handshakeand tell what it means, saying the Cub Scout Motto, Giving the Cub Scout salute and telling what it means, and completeing the Bobcat requirements on Child Abuse and being a good Good Cub Scout.
