Here is where you can start to take a Time Out from the TV, computer, housework, and bills. It only takes a few minutes to do fun and memorable things with your children and this page will lend a hand each month to get you started. Tune in here for encouragement, fun and easy things to do, and other tidbits, all geared just for you and your precious ones. And if we're lucky, I may even add things as often as weekly, so check back often!!!
~ Time Out for the Week ~
Fruit Putty
A fun and simple project for kids of all ages!
You will need:
0.3 -ounce package of sugar free fruit flavored gelatin
2 cups flour
1 cup salt
4 tablespoons cream of tartar
2 cups boiling water
2 tablespoons cooking oil
Mix the dry ingredients in a pan. Have an adult add the boiling water
and cooking oil. Have an adult stir over medium-high heat until the
mixture forms a ball. Place the ball on waxed paper to cool. Knead the
dough until uniform in color and store in an airtight container. Use
different flavors to make all different colors and smells.

Scrambled Egg Surprise
Ingredients:
1 doz. eggs
1/4 c. milk
1 box stuffing mix
1 c. any shredded cheese (optional)
Cooking Instructions:
Mix eggs and milk together in a bowl. Pour into hot skillet. Cook 1
minute. Add stuffing mix. Scramble until done. Remove from heat. Add
cheese. Cover and let sit 5 minutes. Enjoy!
