Below are the requirements to earn the Goodwill patch:

Short essay on "Why it is better to give than receive"
** Electives **
3 Acts of Goodwill for someone else
1 Act ONLY may be done for a family member
2 or more acts MUST be done for someone other than a family member
Electives could be -- washing the dishes, raking leaves, shoveling a sidewalk &/or driveway, washing a car, carrying groceries, singing carols or playing games at a nursing home or personal care home, work at a soup kitchen with your mom or dad, and the list goes on and on and on.
Give your essay to your Den Leader by the first den meeting in January (01/07/04).
Activities not to be included: Food drive, Adopt a street trash pick-up, Toys for Tots, Adopt-a-family, or any other service project the pack participates in as a pack.
