Welcome!

 

Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 134 in Mohegan Lake, New York. We meet at George Washington Elementary School. Pack meeting start at 7:30pm. Please see the calendar below for Pack dates.

Our Pack leadership plans a different program each month to insure an exciting experience. The themes vary each month from holiday parties to games and other activities. We also plan some wonderful trips and learning opportunities for the boys. Each boy has the opportunity to participate to their individual abilities.

You can sign-up any time! We meet every month at George Washington Elementary School. You can call the school for the nights, you can look at the calendar below, or you can call us. We would be happy to tell you all about our program. All boys are welcome to join the Pack and play games, have fun and learn about the Cub Scouts!

If you want to register, please come to our registration night May 16'th starting at 7:30PM at George Washington Elementary School. We will have people to talk to and things for the boys to do! We will also have a registration night in the Fall. If you can't make it on May 16'th and still want to join, you can call Peter Hoernes at 526-9243.

Our next few events are:

• June Graduation - June 13

  The 2003 Graduation will be at Clear Lake Scout Reservation. All Pack members are welcome and new boys will have a wonderful introduction to Cub Scouting. Clear Lake's address is below. Quassy Park Scout Day Saturday, May 31, 2003

• Price: $7.50 per person - a $12.95 value (only those going on rides need a ticket)
• Unlimited All Day Ride Pass between 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM
• Free parking and Free Beach Pass beginning at 10:00 AM
• Exclusive Scout use of picnic area

• Don't forget Clear Lake Summer Camp! This is a really good day camp!

 

 

The Thunderbird Games will be held in October and we are ready to go! The Thunderbird Games have been a wonderful success each year and we look forward to having you and your boy attend. Pack 134 will be spending Saturday night camping and having a bonfire. Please be ready to have fun!

The Webelos will be camping at Clear Lake in late October. This will be the first Webelos cabin campout for the year. The cabins are new and well suited for a fall camping weekend. Parents will be asked to come along to help out and work with the boys.

 

The Pack is also planning a trip to the USS Massachusetts Battleship next October for a weekend of fun. Be sure to sign-up now so we can get a place for you! This will be a fun trip to one of the best preserved battle ships in the world. The boys and their parents will be able to sleep on the ship, like the sailors of old.

Each month the Pack plans a Sport Night for the boys to learn games, earn badges and most importantly, have a great time together. Our Sports Coordinators plan each night's activities. Activities for the Bear and Wolf boys start at 7:00pm and Webelos (both Junior and Senior) will start at 8:00pm.
