Mission Log:

After the 8/3/94 meeting, Shadow Knight reported a breakthrough in his energy research. The Guardians traveled to a college in Arkansas to meet an expert in the field. The building had been attacked and the scientists killed or injured. A critically injured scientist, Dr. Thrip, reported that Intercrime had stolen their equipment and headed to Williamsport.

The Guardians tracked the Intercrime force and rendezvoused at a clearing where Intercrime was conducting tests. Four flyers were present, one winged villain and three Power Infantry. There was four ground members observed, three technicians watched by one supervillians. Also on the ground but not observed were three assassins and Shadowjack.

Firemist, White Leopard, and Entropy moved against Spyder while Quiasar and Doctor Desist attacked the flyers. Desist was able to down the Power Infantry in time but Tengu was able to break free from Quiasar. Meanwhile, the ground attack flopped. White Leopard attacked Spyder, but Firemist was distracted and Entropy ambushed by the assassins. Entropy defeated the assassins and Shadowjack while White Leopard fought Spyder to a standstill. Quiasar and Firemist down the technicians. Desist then knocked out Spyder, leaving only Tengu. Tengu grabbed Shadowjack and Spyder but was trapped by Quiasar. White Leopard hit Tengu with ice, knocking him out but reviving Shadowjack and Spyder.

Spyder downed Quiasar and stuns White Leopard as Desist gains revenge on Shadowjack. Spyder is hit several times but downs Entropy. White Leopard then recovers and knocks out Spyder.
Conclusions: All Guardians fought well in perhaps the toughest fight to date. Guardian combat strategy needs updating. It was a free for all, not a team fight. Intercrime weaponry seems to negate Quiasar's forcefield. White Leopard proved how valuable she can be. Her durability earns her the MVG for the mission.
Follow-up file: Intercrime has gone from a far off nuisance to a serious menace to the Guardians. Interrogation of the suspects has yielded surprising results. The Crimelord, head of Intercrime, is now dead/replaced/overthrown. This occurred around six months ago and the increased activity of Intercrime may be due to their new leader. There is a new Crimelord in town, and he doesn't like the Guardians. We met him before, but we both have matured and changed since then. He is known by many names, but the most important one is the ORGANIZER.
