The year is 1995. The greatest heroes of the United States (and the world), the Guardians have disappeared. The economy is good, wealth is everywhere, and no one seems to be trying to take over the world. Yet, the world is troubled. Corruption is everywhere, and tolerated by many. The strong oppress the weak, and no one intervenes. The nation is without a conscience. Into this void comes the Pacific Knights. Extrordinary people with ordinary backgrounds, they seek to restore justice to the Northwest.

Madagascar no longer exists. It is now the paranormal nation of New Babylon. All former residents were forcibly resettled by the paranormals

To soften the blow, parts of East Africa were turned into a garden paradise by the paranormals

New Babylon has since been wracked by civil war, and little is known about the island nation
