There have been concerns about the email previously sent regarding the time to turn in a resume for the TOP Representative position. There was no "DATE" set for the deadline, but we do need interested members to gather and submit a resume as quickly as possible so we can get the position filled. We have a lot of work to do in order to get the program started and the TOP Rep is an active participant in the rollout. With the turnaround just around the corner, we would like to get the process started
T O P -- Triangle Of Prevention
The TOP Program is an opportunity for the individual employee to take an active role in improving their own safety and the safety of every worker in the facility. There will be rollout meetings to discuss details of the program
The TOP Program was developed by the Paper, Allied-Industrial Chemical and Energy Workers International Union and is supported by Shell.
BBS- Behavior Based Safety is a Global Shell Program
The TOP Representative should:
Be well respected by the Union and Company
Have knowledge of and interest in Health and Safety
Have computer skills
Have ability to speak to groups
Training:
24 hour TOP Rep training course
40 hour Train the Trainer course
These classes are scheduled and conducted by Pace International in Nashville, TN
