| Not one of the Pens finest moments. This was the home opener, and I got a free magnet and towel, but other than that, well, the game sucked. Lots of odd-man breaks, and defensive breakdowns. Plus, no one had any really good chances on Ed Belfour. Mario Lemieux looked really good, but his linemates, Hrdina and Morozov did not. Wayne Primeau was the only other guy who seemed to play well, oh wait, Steve McKenna did play a good game too. Johan Hedberg looked well, it was the defense that played horrible. | The new home jerseys looked awesome, but the players in them stunk.....Crowd was over 15,000, meaning it wasn't a sellout....I listened to a guy behind me that has this theory that the Pens will win the Stanley Cup just because they changed the logo back to the skating Penguins.....I saw Kevin Stevens at Gate One, he looked good. | |||||||||||||||||||
