| Kiddies playing sound bot programs within a chat room ( simply repeating snd sounds) and hyping it with script to appear dangerous..IS ANOTHER SAD EVENT FACED IN CHAT! |

| You can disable sounds in Yahoo Messenger under preferences..sounds and by unchecking the top box (enable) and then clicking apply. If you do not and they come through your room..you still have two more options if your fast enough..ONE IS HIGHLIGHT AND IGNORE THEM AND THE OTHER IS PUT A CHECK MARK IN MUTE BOX WHILE THEY RUN THROUGH THE ROOM: Some indicate to others to put them permanently in the Privacy Box inside Messenger Module..sadly..it only holds so many..and truly these interrupters change their id's constantly so it does not auto stop them anyway: THINK ABOUT IT! |
| what can you do? KEEP YOUR SYSTEM MAINTAINED..CLEANED, SCANNED AND DEFRAGGED: And only have applications running which you need to use while in chat rooms. Thus allowing your system resouces to remain at least at or above 68% always. Example: Virus programs are useless once in chat..they are for dowloads, mail and attachments. FIREWALLS: I firmly believe in them and run mine always: But..please note..no firewall once you enter a chat room works against that chat room since you gave it permission by entering the room to allow connections with users: Yet! while in the room it protects outside attacks from the www: Understand? Wherefore, firewalls are great..but you once permission is granted protect not you! |

| New messengers...Keep checking the Numbers....lol YAHOO SERVER COMPUTERS STILL HAVING VOICE CONNECTION PROBLEMS DUE PROGRAMMING of this new unit..old and new units will not im together with voice..and new units use allot of system resources to run...Yahoo adding far to many features...Unit not as it should be..But hey..It is still free, |
