The people's data-hackers

Ch  So it's pass the lid around boys
Don't be a bunch of slackers
And tonight we'll drink the health
Of the people's data-hackers

Of the trail I'll tell that we know so well
Encrypt the data backwards
From BHP or from Honeywell
The peoples data hackers

Girls and boys from every land
And every creed and station
Smart shites, black and white
Ignoring legal obligations

Ch

I've travelled the roads of the northern nodes
Where Security's like the clappers
Where the firewalls are ten feet tall
And the bastards tried to zap us

I've dug the lodes at Rio Tinto
And their major investors
Still don't understand I've ripped off their plans
And given 'em to the protestors

Ch

When I find a rich seam I'm like a cat in cream
Or like a pig in clover
I'll bring in the guys, strip the fuckers dry
And hand the data over

With moon-crazed howls I've stripped the bowels
Of Western Mining's mainframe
And with great delight I've nicked the rights
To the League of Rights' domain name.

Ch

I know that the knock will come one day
And the door will break in pieces
And private pigs will destroy my rig
And smash me into pieces

If you're passing down this path
May your escape be trackless
And tonight we'll drink the health
Of the peoples data-hackers.
