Garmin GPS 100
The GPS Unit fitted to CNB is a 1992 Garmin GPS 100 AVD. At present it contains the Jeperson DataBase for 1993 of worldwide Airports, NDBs and Vors. It will be updated when a new EPROM with current Jeperson Data is located. Currently the new databases have been discontinued , as of 1999. However the GPS is still most useful and fully functional. There have been few changes to Australian airstrips since 1993 and these changes are mostly additions which can be programmed manually.
