| Miranda was a late Christmas present, arriving on Dec. 26. She always had a great fondness for the dragons that roamed through the forests of Pluto. Knowing this, her father gave her a pair of dragon earrings when she was a young girl. One day while on a walk, she came across a young man playing with the village children. His apparent kindness and love for children stole her heart, and she was instantly in love. His name was John, and they were soon married and had four kids, John Jr., Diana, Kelly, and Charles. One day when Miranda went for a walk in the forest, she came across a huge, green, winged dragon. She was crying because the other dragons had teased her, and she had no friends to play with. Brave Miranda walked up to her, comforted her and said that she would be the dragon's friend. From then on, the dragon was a faithful friend and gardian for Miranda and her family. But it was time for Miranda to take on her duties as Mentor of young Trista, so that they would be ready when the call was sent out for the Scouts and their Mentors........ |
| Mythology: Charon is the boatman who ferried the souls of the dead across the river that separated the worlds of the living and the dead and brought them to the gates of the underworld. He would only alow souls who could pay their fares to enter his boat. This fare was paid with a coin that was placed under the tongue of the corpse. |
