Review - Frenzal Rhombb "disappointment"
single on Hypnotised through Shock!

Oh disappointment - no: not the way I felt when sighting the new Frenzal Rhomb CD in the Shock! packet at the PO. That’s the name of this new Green Day/Offspringesque tune done by those who were at it first and foremost. Slower than usual but up there, and more than made up by the shopping parody Coles New World Order, this is, when they weren’t being tuneful and melodic. Urban Myth is a remix by David Thrussel that is actually repetitious, boring and not funny, despite the US sit-com canned laughter: this is Frenzal Rhomb at the disco - not! Then it was the actual disappointment - the rejected Recovery theme. Ah well, maybe the enforcer’s new music program could use it.

Not a punch in the face but maybe, just maybe, moving up to meet a market created by three unlikely Finley youths in a similar-but-not-quite genre.
