Review - Bengal Tigers 'In The< Blood'
album on SM Records

I have recently listened to and been thoroughly disappointed by some so-called heavy music albums by artists who have built solid reputations as leaders in their field. This album, however, is not one of them! Over the course of their previous releases, the Bengal Tigers have established themselves as classic heavy-rockmeisters with a distinct sound of their own; a sound created by combining their Australian and US heavy rock-innovators’ influences which continues throughout their debut album "In The Blood" on SM Records.

We've been promised this album since their debut EP "Pain Clinic" and the guys have more than delivered! With powerfully chunky guitar riffs and effects, melodies akin to Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, ACDC and The Angels, and vocals sounding as Bruce Dickenson/Ax

/Ian Gillam as ever, this is the album we've been waiting for! Stand out tracks include the rock almost-ballad Burned, the slow-metal pace of Leather: complete with a full-gospel intro and overtones throughout; the ACDC/Angelsesque Hot Lips (from their last single), I Got You To Do It, and their beefed-up version of the Beastie Boys 1986 smash Fight For Your Right, which last year was ignored for high-rotation/addition over a dance-version of the same song.

With a build up equal to any from a big label which included single and EP releases, an A-class website and matching glossy CD-artwork, 'In The Blood' will not disappoint Bengals' fans in any way, shape or form!
