down the highway on three thundering Harleys, Wolverines are a mean trio
of hombrés whose genre is described a “heavy country”. This album, however, is
just another example of what’s being sold as country music without actually
being your run-o-the-mill country music that we all grew up with. Maybe
Wolverines are an example of why country music is growing in popularity and
acceptance: more that three (or four) chords, a dynamic and enthused rhythm
section and a variety of subject-matters.
