Not since the release of “1959” in 1995 have we had anything new from Lee Kernaghan - sure, there was
the single last year with Troy Cassar-Daley
but here is Lee vocally and instrumentally with This Is The Outback/Twango/Brown Water
on ABC through EMI.
Outback is typical Lee, with what is now a sound
of his own, and on Twango and Brown Water he surrenders the voice we
know to show that instrumentals are still on the musical agenda.
With Lawrie Minson, Mark Punch and the
brothers McCormack heading the 6-piece unit utilised in this recording, Lee Kernaghan proves that even
taking a chance pays off at this stage of his career.
