Future Is Now”

Adelaide-based noisemeisters VNB are introduced to us by a former Fat City Kitty, now Rock Chick Posse. And as the FCK banner is dropped, so the Rock Chick brings us the same band that, having reviewed their demo, now bring to the world their official and independent debut release “The Future Is Now.”
Comprising three experienced musicians in Jaime (a.k.a. J), Adrian and Kym, VNB decided not to pursue the rock music they’d been playing for some 10 years prior, but instead have embraced sounds of the new Millennium by mixing traditional guitars/drums/bass with beats and programming and some very harsh-sounding vocals. This mix is proving popular among both the hardened rock fans and the technology enthusiasts in the Church City.
Think dogmachine; think Birmingham6; think Thrill Kill Kult: you’d pretty much have “The Future Is Now,” as promised by their Demo1 release of last year. For mine, the standout tracks include their theme/signature and Dysfunction.
