Washington DC
Our nation’s capital is packed with monuments along with plenty of photo opportunities. Washington DC makes taking pictures easy all you have to do is point and click and you'll have a photo masterpiece. DC looks like a cool place to live there's lots of things to do and the city is packed with culture. We went to all the famous tourist places including the amazing Botanical Gardens. We stopped in an Irish Pub for lunch and boy was it yummy. The Lincoln Memorial was closed so you were only able to view it from a distance. In the downtown area there is nothing but the finest shops such as: Sax Fifth Ave, Nordstorm, and etc. We did a little shopping while there and Paul bought an awesome Italian trench coat, and I got some really cool clothes. In the Capital Dome we saw incredible domes some hand carved with gold leaf others had intricate murals. After the Capital Dome we explored the inside Botanical Gardens that were filled with rare tropical plants and flowers. There was a room just for Orchids in there I saw some really unique specimens. There was a tropical rain forest, a desert, a deciduous forest, and a couple of water features all under one roof. The roads just outside of DC were lined with large trees had turned all the shades of fall and it was quite a pleasant drive, that is until you reach the interior and then it was bumper to bumper traffic. I enjoyed Washington DC and would go back for another visit I however would never live there due to the price of housing and the amount of people that live in the city.
