New York
New York, New York oh how I love this town! No matter how many times I visit New York I'll never be able to do everything there is to do. Something about New York calls to me maybe it's the atmosphere or being among all the people or maybe it's the glimmer of Times Square. While in New York we got a chance to see the Naked Cowboy and boy was it cold out that day. We also stumbled into the premiere for the movie Elf and got to see a lot of celebrity's such as: James Caan, Will Ferrell, Kerry Russell, Jesse Bradford, Paul Rudd, Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen, Molly Shannon, Hallie Kate Eisenberg, Jon Favreau, and etc. outside of Rockefeller Plaza. Having seen the red carpet rolled out we were curious and waited to see what was happening so we in fact were the first people in 'line' and were so close to the stars we could have touched them. Everything was lit up for Christmas there was the ice skating rink and the giant Christmas tree (I felt like I was in Home Alone 2). Toys 'R' Us was PACKED with people buying early Christmas gifts (it was only November 1st). Since New York was overly crowed that time of year we avoided all the tourist spots and just explored the city. It was difficult to find parking and even harder to navigate around the mobs of people crossing the streets. Before heading back we went up to see Niagra Falls. All I can say is WOW what a site the falls are ENORMOUS a true work of nature. After thoroughly looking at every angle of the falls we drove into Canada for a look around. It looks just like America there's Wal-Mart and Burger King it's all the same except for the accent. We drove to Toronto and visited the Toronto Tower inside the tower is rides, games, and restaurants. You take a glass elevator to the top (which is creepy watching things get smaller and smaller as you get higher and higher) where there is an outdoor observation deck (which is pounded by the wind) inside there is a floor made of see through glass where you can look down to the street below (not that you can see the street due to the height). The optical illusion of walking on a glass floor that high up is intense you become dizzy and even light headed. Toronto Towers is a good place to check out when in Toronto.
