Working at at tattoo shop and a toy store made for some interesting times. Tthe doll body was from a lifelike model, and I used them primarily because the head would come off easily, leaving sort of a mushroom-shaped neck stump that would yield easily to an Xacto knife. This is the first "la Poupee" I built, after watching a home improvement show and seeing how easy it was to make a lamp out of a bottle. Of course me, I had to make a lamp out of a baby doll.

Detail Turned on, it gave off a sickly light, but worked beautifully and didn't get hot enough to damage the surrounding plastic, which was nice. It ended up being sold on eBay for about $40.
