Prpbably one of my worst paintings, I hang on to this one because it was based on a dream image, an image I desperately wanted to get on canvas, and missed rather entirely. I was working at portraying the cylinder as a lathed rod that was being levered out of it's formative cradle, but everything seemed to go wrong, except for the rendering of the clouds, which I quite like and up to that point and beyond I have never used.
