19/09/02 - Look! An update! Wow, we really have been very busy. To cut several long stories short, we have a new drummer, the delightful Chris Guymer of Rebus and Moly fame, and Joseph has not repaired to Scotland, but is staying here to lend his engineering and production expertise to the band. We have been rehearsing 4 days a week in order to go into the studio next month and for 'The Stable Man's Choice Final' on 19th Oct at the lovely twforum. We will have a new E.P out in November with a new name and a new website. Hope to see you on the 19th. |

18/06/02 - Something of an anouncement to make - In late March, Joseph decided, with full support of the rest of us to leave the band to go to university in Edinburgh to study Music. We've had a number of meetings with him and our management and we agreed that he would play a few last live shows with us and possibly go into the studio with us at the end of August, depending on whether or not we've recruited a new drummer. We've played with a couple of others recently, though there are no firm arrangements yet. The rest of us will carry on as planned, cobbling together a tour as soon as possible and getting the next record out. We have been selected as one of the top eighteen bands to have entered the Tunbridge Wells' Forum's 'Stable' this year by the "Industry". This means we play a second show and record more live tracks for further scrutiny by the "Industry". This will take place on July 8th, bring lunch money, or sandwhiches and a mac in case of rain. We will also be playing a gig with The Kicks soon, with all proceeds going to St. Dunstan's Church in Southborough. Good luck to anyone who, like us, is slaving over a hot textbook. Cliches aside, Joseph was a great drummer and a great colleague. Cheers Joe.

13/03/02 - Thank you to all the nice persons that came to see us on the 25th. We've had a couple of meetings and it transpires that we will go into the Granery Studios at the end of July, rather than over Easter as this would give us more rehearsal time, which is restricted as it is due to the wonders of the education system. We found Steve. He was in Brighton mostly. We also found about 10 or 15 copies of "Recreated in sound in rhythm" by us. Yours for a 2.99. We're not going to do any gigs for a long time. We'll be writing and rehearsing a lot .May your house be free from tigers. Bye for now. |

17/02/02 - Yesterday we realised that it's about a year now since we met Steve Management Hill. We'd have more to show for it if we weren't still at school.... Come and see us on the 25th of this month at the Tunbridge Wells Forum, playing with Joeyfat and Cove as part of the Forum's new Stable initiative. (It means you have to write our name on a piece of paper and give it to Dan behind the bar.) Thanks to all the nice people that came to see us on the 25th of Jan, which was incidentally the last time anyone clapped eyes on Steve. If anyone has seen him please can they let us know... |

07/01/02 - Look at that. A zero in every figure of the date. Amazing. Well. We have been very busy enjoying the festive season. Thank you if you came on the 29th. We were awful. We have also been enjoying many new toys provided by a combination of management and our own funds (but very much mostly Steve). We will be recording every song we have ever written in a live session with Tony Clarke on Saturday, from which we will select three tracks to take to the Granary studios. Come and see us at the Tunbridge Wells Forum on the 25th, playing with Emnity, Longplay and Abbyssinia. (sp) |

19/11/01 - Thank you to all the people who came to see our brief performance in the Acoustic Lounge at the Tunbridge Wells Forum last night. Thanks to Cox (box) for loan of a bass and rig. The website will soon (hopefully by tomorow morning) have a new Seamus Masters photo on the mainpage to replace the apocalytic Champs Elysees that Mark took whilst he and Jeremy were on holiday in Paris a very long time ago. We'll also put up some new photos of our recent Industry Showcase, also by Seamus. We will be co-headlining a show at the Tunbridge Wells Forum on 29th Dec, more details to follow. By the way, if this page looks all disjointed and broken it's not my fault. |

08/11/01 - We will playing an acoustic gig at the forum on Sunday 18th of November. We'll be doing a day of live recording in December with Tony Clark, purely for reference. The idea is that we listen to the playback and try to expand / improve the tracks before we enter the studio to make a proper record. Should be interesting... |

07/10/01 - Industry Showcase was fairly successful. Thank you to all who came. Thanks also to the truly amazing Rebus and ILL Conquistador. In other news ~ David was eighteen on Thursday. The rest of the band bought him an E.C dissaproved child's car seat and we had a lovely party last night with hats and streamers and balloons and everything. We are still feeling a bit unsteady...David and Mark claim to be forming a new band called The Adults. ~ A meeting was held with management on 26th of September. It was decided that for the next nine months (while we finish school) we will make another record and promote ourselves with it, doing only a handful of gigs, if any. ~ We are currently trying to pull together some dates within the next five months to record around twenty songs, possibly with Tony Clark, to select twelve album tracks from. |

30/09/01 - Apologies for lack of update: site got hacked, password got changed by Geocities to something incomprehensable, did some gigs, applied for universities, we've been fairly busy. Well now, Showcase Final was great, we won the Industry Vote and came second in the Audience Vote, BOX won the Audience Vote and Fray won the Forum Staff Vote. Thanks to all those who paid too much money to come and see us, and to those who voted for us. We are holding an Industry Showcase on Thursday at the Tunbridge Wells Forum for a music lawyer with no name, a guy from London WEA records, and a very nice man called Tony Clark who we went to see in his lavish home on Wednesday. He's a former Abbey Road producer who's heard 'Recreated...' and thinks we're a very nice bunch of lads indeed. You too can be there for only 3.50 of your English money. Support comes from Rebus, which is odd because they are far better then us. It has been rumoured that we are going to another Industry Showcase in Bath (???) for some A&R men and women (we must remain politically correct). Our prize from the Industry Vote is to go to Granary Studios for a couple of days of recording and a day of mixing. We'll either go in at the end of next month or over Christmas to record two tracks for the next E.P which will probably come out sometime around the new year. That's all for now, children, next time we'll be looking at how to make your own paper lantern and Connie will become a fireman for the day!...and we'll have the usual bunch of wierdos with dustbins and ladels to use as percussion... (it's probabaly best you ignore that bit)

21/08/01 - The industry showcase mentioned below wuill be held at the the Tunbridge Wells Forum on Thursday 4th October. Only 100 tickets are avaliable for this gig though. We'll let you know how to get hold of one. Our management has been in contact with Domino Records who seem to be making the right noises in our direction. |
