Greetings Readers:
To all of you who've faithfully visited & stuck with this site over the years, I thank you. Your dedication, support & encouragement has been most appreciated. So it is with heavy heart that I must report the following Bad News to you all:
I've just been informed this morning that Yahoo has made the decision to close GeoCities, the host for this website. That's right, folks: as of October 26, 2009, The Invisible Woman Story Archive will no longer be found at this web-address. Like everything else that is and was part of GeoCities, it will be deleted from their servers and pass into oblivion.
However, do not despair...
...I have already begun "testing the waters," so to speak, to try and transfer the site to a new (and--hopefully--permanent) location before GeoCities goes down for the count. If all goes well, I will hopefully begin making the transition sometime--God willing--in August. This will hopefully allow sufficient time for the readers & other fans of this site to add the new address to their bookmarks, while also allowing new readers to be re-directed to the new location as well.
That is assuming that all goes according to plan & barring accidents, mishaps, bumps along the way and the like, which could conceivably delay things a bit. If that should happen, and if--God forbid--this website should be temporarily inaccessible for a hopefully-short duration of time, please bear with me & remember that I'll be doing my best to work things out & get the site back up & running just as quickly as I can.
But assuming all goes well, this website will have a new home sometime in mid-August, by mid-October at the absolute very latest (perhaps with an entirely-new look as well--but let's not count the chickens 'til they're scratched...)
In the meantime, continue to enjoy the stories.
