| In this romantic story, Dana Boyer (Terry Farrell), a lawyer-turned-veterinarian, and Mike Grant (David Hasselhoff), a fireman, are two passionate, fun-loving adults who meet when Mike rescues Dana from a car accident. During Mike's struggle to save Dana from the burning wreckage of her car, they experience an overwhelming feeling that they have just met their soulmate. Unfortunately, neither learns the other's name. To further complicate matters, Mike is engaged to Tina (Paget Brewster), who is busily planning their wedding, and Dana is set to marry Phil (Karl Pruner), a succesful attorney who uses his high-powered connections to arrange an extravagant reception she doesn't really want.
