Chapter 3: The Threat Begins
::Peter Bandit explains to AL & Friends and OILER about the situation with the diva and the Sailor Senshi. They all meet at the temple, but someone is missing.::
Peter Bandit: Ruben, where's Andy?
Ruben: He said something about a bad history about this place.
AL: That's an excuse? What ever happened to the 'I'm sick' excuse?
Peter Bandit: Unlike you, Andy has issues that don't need that lame excuse. Besides, he has issues everywhere.
AL: Whatever...
OILER: ::Comes walking up the stairs:: Looks like I'm on time. When is this meeting taking place?
Peter Bandit: Real soon. Just as our new friends get here.
:: Five girls come from inside the temple to meet the boys::
Usagi: Hey there! ::Waving::
AL: Are those the chikas you mentioned?
Loyd: Ah thought ya said they were all superheroes an stuff?
Peter Bandit: They are. But... ::to Usagi:: Can I help you?
Rei: Usagi you idiot! They don't know who we are!
Usagi: Oops. Should we tell them?
Ami: They do have a right to know.
::The girls explain who they are and their history::
AL: No way! You're like space chicks!
Loyd: That doesn't sound right, big buddy. It sounds like that reincarnation thang.
Peter Bandit: Whatever the reason, we have some issues to work out together.
Rei: Where's your other friend?
Peter Bandit: He wouldn't come. I'll fill him in later. Right now, let's get our facts straight.
OILER: According to what Peter told me, you encountered some kind of witch, or diva.
Ami: We didn't actually see this diva, but she beat the three of them.
Ruben: I don't even understand what this has to do with me.
Peter Bandit: It may not. We found a drone at the airport wanting to put me out of commission. Sorry if I got you involved guys.
AL: Think nothing of it. You got some back up now.
Boomer: YAEH! We can help!
Loyd: Let's not get into this one, Boomer. Ah think this is a job fer AL this time.
Boomer: But I wanna help! ::Pouts::
AL: Hakuna Matata, little dude! You can give us some outside support too.
Boomer: ::Jumps for joy:: YAY! I get to help!
Ruben: ::Smiles:: It must be great to be so happy.
AL: Whadda mean by that? You sound like you never laughed before.
Ruben: ..................
Peter Bandit: It's a long story, AL. Let's just drop it.
::Mina looks at Ruben wondering about his reply::
Rei: Now what can we do about this Diva?
Peter Bandit: Not much. If she doesn't show up again, then we can't do anything.
OILER: I can also moniter areas around the city in case there is a pattern to any attacks by this Diva.
Ami: Really?! That was what I had in mind!
OILER: Maybe we can work together, then. I could use some support if my calculations are a little off.
AL: What do I do, then?
Peter Bandit: Enjoy your vacation for now. We just can't go out into Tokyo looking for trouble.
Makato: Right. We all have to just keep low until this Diva decides to show up.
AL: You're kidding, right?
Peter Bandit: Sorry, but how do you take on a fight if nobody shows up?
AL: Grrrrr... Alright. But I'm not gonna like it!
Loyd: When do yuh ever?
AL: I heard that.
Usagi: Okay. Now what do we do for now?
Ruben: I don't suppose there's anything to eat here. I am a little hungry.
Mina: I know a great place around here. I can take you there.
Ruben: ....okay....
AL: ::To Peter:: what's with Mr. Shy over there?
Peter Bandit: He's not used to people helping him. He prefers to keep to himself most of the time.
AL: Sounds like the boy needs a little fun in his life.
Peter Bandit: He needs a little more than that... ::Walks away::
AL: What? Is he a.... Where'd he go?
Usagi: He went that way. ::points::
AL: HEY! WAIT UP!!! WE STILL NEED A RIDE!!!
Loyd: Ah think ya may have said somethin' offensive.
AL: What'd I say? AW DAG Y'ALL!
Makato: Calm down. I'm not doing anything important. I'll show you around.
Loyd: Thank ya, ma'am. It would be nice tuh see this place with someone who lives here.
Boomer: Thank you. ::Bows humbley:: Can you show me something here on the internet?
::The four of them leave::
Rei: I wonder about them. But what about this Andy guy?
Usagi: Oh let's not worry about him. I'm going home to see if Mamo-Chan called. ::skips away::
Rei: *Sigh* Well, I suppose there's more work to be done here at the temple. You can help me if you want.
OILER: I would, unfortunately I wanted to investigate the site where you encountered this Diva. I want to find any energy residue from there.
Ami: I'll go with you. I want to know what you find there as well.
::The two leave::
Rei: Oh, well.... Might as well get started. I wonder where Chad is? It's his turn to scrub the floors.
::Mina and Ruben sit at a cafe table waiting for their meal::
Ruben: May I ask you something?
Mina: Sure. What is it?
Ruben: I don't wish to be rude....
Mina: It's okay. I won't be mad or anything.
Ruben: You seem to be nice to me... and we just met. What do you see in me?
Mina: What do I see in you? That's sort of an odd question to ask.
Ruben: ............
Mina: If it means that much to you, then.... I guess it's my nature.
Ruben: Nature?
Mina: You know. When you have a feeling inside you that tells you something doesn't feel right.
Ruben: I suppose. Is it your nature to help others?
Mina: Sure. Isn't it yours?
Ruben: ............. I would like it to be.
Mina: *to herself* This guy needs some sunshine. He's too much of a downer. *notices a card on the table* What's this?
Ruben: ? It wasn't there before. May I see?
Mina: Sure. *Hands Ruben the card*
*Ruben holds the card up and feels something dark eminating from it*
Ruben: Wh-What is this thing?! AAAARRRRGGH!!!!! *Falls out of his seat in pain*
Mina: Ruben! Are you alright? *To herself* Why didn't it affect me? Was it meant for him?
???: I found you! And I must admit that you have good taste in food.
Mina: What did you do to him!?
???: Oh! I didn't think you had company. I'll take him off your shoulders now.
Mina: I don't think so, you Fashion Freak!
???: Fashion Freak?! This coming from a girl who wears last decade's clothing? I think you should leave now.
Mina: I won't let you harm Ruben! Who are you anyway?
???: Ruben? Is that his name? I thought the fellow he was talking with called him Outcast? I guess Ruben is a cute pet-name.
Mina: HEY! I asked you a question! Who are you?!
???: Hmm? Oh, there I go again. Forgeting my manners. I'm Divi-Anne. You will remember that when your tossed aside, will you?
Mina: What? *Begins to be levitated and thrown into the cafe* AAAAAAHHHH!!!!
Divi-Anne: I told you so! Now little Ruben, shall we leave?
Ruben: NO! We will not leave. We have more to do on this earth!
Divi-Anne: I knew I sensed another spirit in that shell! Now why don't you leave that body and come help me?
Ruben: NO! This vessal is ours! And we will be no one's tool! Leave us or feel pain!
Divi-Anne: How rude! Fine! I'll just have to take care of you like before! *Summons energy* SHADDOW BALL! *Throws it towards Ruben*
*Ruben swats the ball away*
Ruben: No tool of destruction can harm the spirit of chaos! Or must we show you our true power?
Divi-Anne: Wow! I guess I got lucky then? Fine! I'll leave. Take care. *disappears*
Ruben: ...........Wh.. what happened? Mina? Where are you? *turns around to see Mina struck down unconcious* MINA!!! Somebody help me! *Goes to Mina's aide* What happened here? Did I... Did I do this? Wait. *turns around and sees the card* It was that witch, wasn't it? But why am I still here?
Peter Bandit: RUBEN! Are you okay!
Usagi: What happened? OH Mina!
Ruben: That witch came. I felt something through this card.... But I don't sense anything now.
Peter Bandit: *takes the card from Ruben* Where'd this come from? I can't even read it.
Usagi: Mina. Are you alright?
Mina: ........I'm alright. Where's Ruben?
Ruben: I'm right here..... I feel responsible for this.
Mina: Don't be. I did get her name before she threw me.
Peter Bandit: You did? Looks like we have another meeting then. But we need to get you patched up first.
Usagi: I'll call Ami. She'll know what to do.
Peter Bandit: Tell her to meet us at my place. I think they're already there.
Usagi: Okay. *Gets on her communicator*
Peter Bandit: You can tell us what happened with our little troublemaker when we get to my place.
Ruben: I wish I knew what happend as well. It's all a blur.
Peter Bandit: This is gonna get deep. I just know it.
