| This is how i found the car. Abandoned for a year, blocked from people by a wood pile that I had to restack to get her home. It took me 4 months to track down the owner. I paid 200 cash, he wanted 4. The interior was covered and I mean covered in mold from a bad leak infront of the steering wheel. the tires were all brand new and hold air. The engine I was told had floated a valve while the previous owner had been working on the transaxle cable and started it with the gas pedal stuck. The truth was, that the head was cracked (surprise surprise, a quad with a cracked head) anyways, the intake and idi cover had been removed and I could see fluid on the valves, not a good sign. I got a replacement head off ebay, and now Im in the process of rebuilding the car to make her pretty again and fast as hell. Only 204 of them ever made, they will be worth something in the future, and a lot of fun in the mean time. |
