Help! This isn't #*@^$&% working!!!

Most likely you are at work (sorry) and you are behind a firewall (needed for your company to route Internet traffic and protect you from virus's.) As of right now, you are S.O.L., but if we come across a solution, we will post it.

What the hell is Peercast?

PeerCast is an audio/video streaming server and client rolled into one. You can use PeerCast to tune in to dozens of PeerCast powered online stations, and you can also broadcast yourself. PeerCast's top unique feature is that you don't have to get a big server with lots of bandwidth to serve your stream to lots of people -- all you need is PeerCast and an external broadcasting tool.

Are you releated to Peercast in anyway? Why are you doing this?

No, we are not affliated in anyway to Peercast. We are doing this because we are strong proponents of free speech. Corporations are taking over too much of our country because they make laws that benefit them the most. This is not productive to society. What we are told is illegal, SHOULD NOT be. Eventually enough people will wake up and relize this. Many thanks to the invention of the Internet and the shift of power.

Why can't I find the "p2pirate" station on the Peercast webpage?

1. It's not during the live airtime of ~6am to ~10:30am Eastern Standard Time
2. You just started up your Peercast software, it will take 5-10 minutes to find all the radio stations.
3. p2pirate is experiencing "technical difficulties." Sorry, but we don't provide you with the convince of a test tone.
4. Try checking on this "master list" - http://yp.peercast.org/ (Filter by the TALK genre.)

Why don't you replay the audio stream later during the day?

You people are never happy. If you search around hard enough on the internet (that's more then just the web), you will find them, you just gotta look.

Why don't you have any hyperlinks on your website? I'm lazy and don't like copying and pasting every link.

For a few reasons:

1. By not including a clickable hyperlink, the visited webpage cannot see where you (the visitor) came from.
2. It gives us a legal buffer. Some websites have actually been sent Cease & Desists orders for linking to illegal websites Google has gotten away with just posting the URL as text.
3. Makes you feel like you are working for it ;)
