The graphics in the game are quite good for a Playstation game but they are nothing draw droppingly wonderful, the textures are good albeit a little bland this mainly has to do with the Playstations texture limitations they also look a bit faded but once again that stems from the Playstation. The draw distance is pretty good for a Playstation game though there is quite a bit of pop-up and sometimes you end up having to swing to the next building or object with just a bit of blind luck but it's very rare for that to happen. Speaking of the building all of them have little details billboards talking about heroes and villains being on talk shows, the Fantastic Four building off in the distance, and of Course a site of the Daily Bugle. The characters in the game range from very good to just plain ugly, the most notable in these categories is Venom and the women of the game. Venom looks just right he has the symbiote costume flowing around him like ooze and the texture work on him is great as you can see the little spots that are different colored to show the life in his costume. The women though they're just awful they look like they scraped together quickly some crummy textures for Mary Jane and Black Cat leaving them as some of the ugliest characters in the game......even Carnage is more attractive then these two. The rest of the cast fits in above the level of the women and just one niggling detail Spidey's costumes do not have the Web Pattern that they are supposed to, I'm sure this was another limitation of hardware as the Dreamcast and PC version has the webs on all his costumes including the secret ones.

Last but not least is the sound in the game which actually is quite well done, nothing could've made me happier then having the Spiderman theme song playing at the opening title and during the menu screen and i'm glad they did it this way. Also, the voices in the game are very well done most of them are from the cartoon Spiderman shows of the 90's Doc Ock is done by the same man that did him in the early 90 cartoon, while Spidey is done by Rino Romano who was the voice for Spidey during Spiderman Unlimited, and Black Cat and Mary Jane is still done by the same woman who played Felicia Hardy and Black Cat in the 90's show and then Mary Jane in Spiderman Unlimited.
