Also, during parts of the game you will be required to fight enemies in the air thus you'll have to web swing and then do aerial combat from Spidey's patented Air kick to literally jumping on the enemies back pummeling them until they throw you off it's an amazing visceral style of fighting and just plain cool. Now on a final note about the graphics the camera has been improved since the original games but not so much that there are no problems it still contains many flaws but it's much more bearable this time and there is also an added feature to make fighting enemies much simpler and stop the camera from being so unwieldy Treyarch has added a lock-on feature where the camera will lock on to your enemy (you can switch targets using the right analog stick) and barely ever lose sight of you foe this comes in especially handy during the air combat.
Once again we come down to the sound which contains many of the sound effects from the original like the web sounds, punching noises, and equally forgettable music as the original. As well as the orginal Spiderman theme being completely absent from this one. The voices in this one also reflect that of the films cast as they actually managed to get the two lead actors from the film to their voice-overs for the game this is of course not the norm for videogames based on films but normally games based on movies usually suck so this game seems to be trying to break that trend. The voiceovers are pretty good but Tobey Maguire does seem rather deadpan throughout the game he seems to have very little enthusiasm throughout and for a smart mouthed guy like Spiderman this didn't quite seem right(it also made me fear when I saw the actual film that he would not cut the mustard as Spidey.....I of course was wrong) the lines in the script though are very much things Spiderman would say. Willem Dafoe's performance as the Green Goblin is perfect though he seems cunning and psychotic at the same time just like the character should if they pick a new voice actor for the Goblin for the next Spiderman cartoon this man deserves the role. The rest of the cast is well voiced also, Mary Jane sounds a bit strange though not sure whether they were trying to sound like Kirsten Dunst or the cartoon Mary Jane but the voice actress didn't quite match either it was a small part though so they didn't have much to work with.
