Welcome to the Mound: guaranteed the most bestest place on the internets. Guaranteed. Update 7/18 New Fl45h Cartoon! Welcome back to the Mound. I apologize that it's been as long as I have been in updating, but I have had other concerns to, how they say in French, le deal with. More importantly, despite all adversity, we managed to pull off another cartoon in the midst of family problems, car problems, computer problems, and accidental immolations. Enjoy the New Cartoon. Update 6/27 - HAPPY ANNIVERSARY. New Cartoon, New Cartoon, New Cartoon, New Cartoon, New Cartoon, and New Cartoon. And yes, those are all separate new cartoons. I guess that would mean we're back. Update 6/27 New FL45H!! Cartoon. It was going to be part of a bigger update, but I'm depressed and probably won't update as soon as I was going to. But hey - one new thing is better than nothing. Update 6/3 New FL45H Cartoon! Linkable here or in the FL45H!! section. Another idea has been suggested to the creator of the site - an idea called MicroCartoons - so be looking forward to that. Some of the sites first ardent supporters have suggested it based on off-line comics that have been written and not displayed for legal purposes. We have yet to figure out why they like our ardents so much, but they have been supportive nonetheless. Enjoy the new cartoon. Update 5/25 New Segment added to the Mound Central Station! This new piece is composed of five animations by my brother in WMV format. You may download them if you like, but remember that they are his. Not mine, not yours, not Alec Guiness' - his. I thought they were funny enough to post, so I posted them. Enjoy. Semi-Update 4/15 Terminator segment finished. Yipee. Update 4/14 New FL45H!! cartoon, and as you can see, I've been working on a |337er design for the site. Click the link above or just click this to see the intro that, in the days to come, is going to be boxed at the top of the page. It'll be awesome when I get it working, and I have a lot of time on my hands this weekend. Terminators still not finished, but because I had not updated in so long, I decided to be merciful and make a new cartoon. Look forward to continued continuance, and here printed are previous updates: Updated 2/27 NEW FLASH CARTOON! Terminator sightings not quite online yet, seeing as that requires a lot of energy and I spent a lot of energy today on the FLASH!! section of the site, but they are coming. I've officially decided that the Mound Daily News will be updated on a completely sporadic basis. Whether or not SG has more to tell will not affect how the articles flow in. Also, as one might have noticed, I have begun to incorporate links into the body of the textual updates. I think that will increase the expirience of first-timers. I was considering putting in links all throughout the body of the previous updates and also putting in buttons in all the flash that would lead you back to the Mound or its component pieces, but then decided that I had been convienient enough for one day. Enjoy the new FL45H. Updated 2/17 Good morning, again. Once again, it is 2 AM before a test and I am awake doing the site. However, this particular update is motivated solely by one important purpose. The purpose of this update is to say that we at the Mound have officially been banned from public school computers. How funny can it be? So, in honor of this momentous occasion, I have updated prematurely. I have a lot of work for the next week or so, and have had a lot of work for a while now, but that does not change the fact that the first priority of the site is to make sure everything is updated on a regular basis. My aunt sent me a picture and I decided to alter it a little. It has a naughty word in it in honor of the banning. Terminator sighting pictures have been flowing in through our sources and should be in the next big update. Enjoy the present picture (see Why the War on Terror Must be Won), and know that I am actually delivering on the promise I made. Updated 2/3 Good morning, everyone! Or at least it's morning on the Mound. It's like 2 AM and I should not be doing this. I have multiple tests to continue studying for, but I figure that since I'm going to be pulling an all-nighter, I might as well enjoy myself. Having spent three or four hours on it, I have officially re-vamped the entirety of the FL45H! section. Each file should now take as little as 1/3 as much time to load as it did before this update, and because of the file-size issue alongside other considerations, the whole "this site has exceeded its bandwidth" should stop appearing under the miniscule provocation that it has thus far endeavored to appear under. As I said, I have been very busy. As you might have noticed, the Mound Daily News was updated daily all week until this one started. I've been too busy to write in SG's stuff. Gladly, he's passed out on the couch right now, so he has no idea that I'm messing with the site. Something about electric sockets and their appropriate uses. 455. Anyway, anticipate future updates with actual content in them. They're easier to accomplish than this one, but this one shall go unheeded by the masses. That's why the mailing list will not be sent out until a substantial update comes through. Enjoy the already-present material! Updated 1/23 Welcome back, and enjoy the new update. The comic is well on the way, and I have added a new segment! Feel free to read the Mound Daily News 5|-|17 Thing. New article nearly every day. And by that, I mean not even close to every day. Nothing else to say. It's been a bad day at the Mound. Bored, tired, hot, and SG has been doing something stupid again. There is some free time coming up, so the next update should be more substantive. Have faith. Not Updated 1/15 Not really an update. Just getting the site out of Christmas mode. Be on the lookout for a new web-comic that I've decided to make. All I have to do is be awesome enough to have some of my friends pose for me so as to allow for me to use their images in the comic, itself. In the meantime, just check out Maddox or something. And if you don't know who that is, just Google search it and feel a little lucky. Serious update planned in the near future. So awesome as to allow for the site to stop exceeding its bandwidth every single day. Oh well. Let the awesomeness continue. Updated 12/30 Well, the actual Christmas holiday has officially come to a close, but because of the fact that countless little spoiled American children are having multiple Christmases as we speak at the homes of grandparents and the like, we at the Mound figure we'll keep the lights on in celebration New content in Mound Central Station, linkable to the right. Three images, each lovingly hand-crafted mechanically for your viewing pleasure. The main guy who does everything on the site is going out of town over the New Year, and we at the Mound are celebrating by putting the keg in his room this time. Anyway, he's off, so upon arrival, there ought to be some good updates waiting at the start of the new year. Happy Dragged-Out Holiday, everyone! Updated 12/25 Merry Christmas, everyone, and I mean it literally this time. New FL45H!! available in the FL45H!! section, both of which are holiday oriented. New stuff might be slow in coming - something like after the New Year, but what's important is that there are two new movies: both of which are worth watching and both of which are now available in the FL45H!! section of the page. I'm thinking about putting in a "l1nkz0rz" section, but am having trouble deciding. Send me an email: tell me if you'd like to look at the same kind of crap I do. Seeing as Halloween is officially over, it has become CHRISTMAS! YIPEE! If you hadn't figured it out, I am rather fond of Christmas. Look forward to Christmas Music to be playing all over the site! (I'll let you turn it off though. Don't worry too much, you pagans.) On to business: New mailing list beguninated. Folks are wanting to know when new stuff shows up! How cool is that? Basically, all this implies is that, if you have seen this site and like the crap we do, email t3h p00pl0rd with the provided contact thing at the bottom-right with an address that you use. That way, every time we update, you know immediately, sometimes before the actual update even goes into effect! Updated 10/28 Using the other photographs that our sources have recently obtained, we at the Mound have completed another political segment of the web site. Usually, one woluldn't be so political, but in light of it being an election year and all.... What matters is that it's linked to the Central Station, and it is very informative. If you had any doubts in your mind over the War in Iraq, this will definitely sway your views in a manner that resembles the swaying of a flag on a windless day. Updated 10/27 In light of the coming election, we at the Mound figured that the world ought to be given a better perspective over everything that applies. New, linkable in Mound Central Station, please take a gander at the Election Special. Or take a mallard. It doesn't bother me. Updated 10/24 I'm operating off of someone else's computer, but I can mooch just long enough to say that there is some more stuff in the FL45H section!
