No matter how far you have gone on the wrong road, turn back.
- Turkish proverb

I am in the midst of searching for a roommate in Salt Lake. Apparently, finding a roommmate is not so easy as I would have hoped, but there are some possibilities... okay, really just one or two, and only one of said possibilities is really appealing to me. Shooting for my ideal (for the first time in years) is hard!

There is also the possibility that I will land in an apartment all by my lonesome. That is not the worst of all possible scenarios. I wouldn't have to worry about having people over whenever I want, I would be able to furnish the place myself (nice if potential roommate(s) have very different taste than I do), and frankly, I'm not good at taking care of myself in roommate situations.

On the other hand, it would be very nice to have some ready-made people to hang out with. A springboard, you might say. Or perhaps a crutch? Who knows!

And for anyone who might be wondering, this is a trial summer. If I really just can't stand it, I will retreat and finish up at BG; if I love it as I desperately hope, then I'll stay and finish out my degree. Caitlyn will be there for another four years (she says) because of her EC, which is nice; we might end up being friends again. Rachel will be there, though she is so busy we will see one another every fortnight or so... mmm... and I can make friends in the area. No problem. I hope.
